A Taste of Urban Sketching with Gladys

Gladys is a graphic designer by profession. She is also an urban sketcher, illustrator and pet portrait artist. 2024 marks a decade of urban sketching for Gladys. Co-founder of an urban sketching group called SketchAbout KL, she is excited to share how sketching during the pandemic led to a solo exhibition whilst living in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Gladys will do a short demo on sketching and show the basics of watercolour. With Gladys’ guidance, participants will create a postcard-size (6 x 4.5 inches) sketch of their own. They will also receive one of Gladys’ postcard prints from her watercolour series of ‘Bangsar Vintage Shopfronts’.
Refreshments and an opportunity to meet and chat with like-minded women.
